Information campaign to raise public awareness of the drought situation
The Environment Department of the Benalmádena Town Council, in collaboration with Emabesa, has launched an information campaign consisting of the placement of information panels on public roads in order to raise awareness of the need to reduce water consumption due to the drought situation in which we find ourselves.

Benalmádena has hosted the celebration of the fifth Mesa Contra la Sequía (Table Against Drought), which has once again brought together the heads of water management companies such as Emabesa and Acosol, different municipal departments that are related to this resource and the councilor for Water, Environment, Parks and Gardens and Cleaning, Juan Olea. The meeting highlighted the savings to be achieved by the municipality, the results of which are already beginning to be noticed in recent months.
